Wunderchalet

Immersed  in uncontaminated nature, 1.5 km from the village of Bersone (western Trentino), the Wunderchalet enjoys unique peace and tranquility. Two characteristic mountain huts, private field and a creek , at 700 meters above sea level in the municipality Valdaone: the southern gate of the Adamello-Brenta park, ideal for practicing sports such as trekking, climbing or ski mountaineering. The two mountain huts, rented as an entire house exclusively, can accommodate up to 8 guests.

MOUNTAIN CHARACTER

Wunderchalet consists of two completely renovated mountain chalet with exposed wood, whose entrances lie opposite each other on their own property.

The first chalet is 42 m² and can accommodate up to 4 people. It is arranged on two levels: on the ground floor there is a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (120/80×200 and 80×200), an anteroom and a small bathroom with sink, shower and wc. On the first floor a living area with dining table and equipped kitchen (induction hob, kettle, oven, fridge, pots, dishes and placemats).

The second chalet is a 29 m² open space with light wooden on all walls, accessed via 2 steps and ideal for 2 guests (maximum 4): there are two single beds 80×190 (or joined into a double bed 160×190), a small bathroom with sink, shower and wc and a low mezzanine with two single beds 80×200 (or joined into a double bed 160×200).

If necessary, heating is done with a stove and wood (which is available to the guest). The mountain character is also reflected in the sleeping solutions: with the exception of two beds, you sleep on bunk beds and on a mezzanine. The bathrooms, small and completely covered in wood, offer the bare essentials.

Outside you can enjoy a large private area with two tables and benches, loungers and chairs and a brick barbecue. The large private property is surrounded by forests and has a mountain creek flowing through it. In the evening, weather permitting, you can enjoy the starry sky thanks to the lack of light pollution.

The two huts, originally used for agricultural purposes, have been brought back to life by the Arrigoni family, who have restored them for modern reuse with passion and attention. During the renovation, although in a spartan form, an attempt was made to combine tradition and modernity with regard to the environment and ecology. The materials used for the external parts are stone and masonry, while the use of wood was preferred for the internal parts

INFO AND EQUIPMENT

The two huts Wunderchalet are rented exclusively as a whole house. The costs for electricity, water, heating, waste disposal and final cleaning are included in the price.

Please communicate your arrival time one day in advance

• Bed linen, towels, pillows, duvets, slippers and WiFi available
• The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, induction hob, oven, refrigerator, pots, dishes and placemats
• The houses are connected to the electricity grid and hot water is provided by electric boilers
• Heating, when necessary, takes place only with a wood stove (which the guest finds available)
• Since these are chalets completely covered in wood, we strongly advise you to pay maximum attention to the fire if you need to use wood stoves!
• Smoking is prohibited inside the house
  The ban also applies to electronic cigarettes
• It is not allowed to organize parties
• Animals, even small ones, are not allowed. We trust in your understanding
• Private parking

Wunderchalet gives you the right to the Trentino Guest Card  with benefits in museums, castles, parks and public transport.

The access road to Wunderchalet, asphalted, narrow and suggestive, leads up to 100 meters from the houses: the last 100 meters of concrete road, in some periods of the year, become impassable and this means that it may happen that you have to cover this last stretch on foot

POSITION

Wunderchalet is located 1.5 km from the village of Bersone, in western Trentino, at 700 meters above sea level in the municipality of Valdaone: the southern gate of the Adamello-Brenta park, ideal for practicing sports such as trekking, climbing or ski mountaineering. Numerous walks can be done starting directly from the huts. By car you can reach the nearby Bissina dam, from which the wonderful uncontaminated Val di Fumo starts, which enters the heart of the Adamello-Brenta park, or the nearby Lake Idro. In winter, the Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo ski resorts are half an hour’s drive away.
